Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar – Local Sightseeing

Your spiritual and scenic journey begins in Amritsar, the heart of Punjab. On arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up. Begin your city tour by visiting the world-renowned Golden Temple, a place of peace and devotion. Next, explore the historical Jallianwala Bagh and experience the patriotic atmosphere at the Wagah Border Ceremony in the evening. Enjoy traditional Punjabi cuisine and return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar to Katra (Vaishno Devi) – Drive (Approx. 6–7 hrs)

After an early breakfast, check out and drive towards Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. The scenic journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Punjab and Jammu. On reaching Katra, check in to your hotel and rest. If time and energy permit, begin the trek to Vaishno Devi Temple (13 km one way) in the evening or early next morning. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 3: Vaishno Devi Darshan – Rest in Katra

Begin your day early and proceed for the holy darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. You can complete the journey on foot or use ponies, palanquins, or a helicopter service (optional, at your own cost). After seeking blessings, return to Katra and rest. Spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local market or simply relaxing at the hotel. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 4: Katra to Srinagar – Drive (Approx. 8–9 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your scenic road journey to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. The drive passes through lush green valleys, tunnels, and charming villages. Arrive in Srinagar by evening and check in to your hotel or traditional houseboat. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of Dal Lake and relax after your long journey. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 5: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Srinagar's Mughal heritage by visiting the charming Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi Gardens. Don’t miss a visit to the Shankaracharya Temple, which offers panoramic views of the city. In the evening, unwind with a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Return to your hotel or houseboat for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Day Excursion to Gulmarg

After breakfast, take a day trip to Gulmarg, one of Kashmir’s most beautiful hill resorts, known for its meadows, snow, and adventure. You can enjoy the famous Gondola ride, which takes you to Apharwat Peak, or try pony rides and snow activities (seasonal). Spend time taking in the alpine beauty and return to Srinagar by evening. Day 7: Day Trip to Pahalgam

Today, head out for a scenic drive to Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds. En route, visit the Saffron fields of Pampore and the Awantipura temple ruins. Once in Pahalgam, explore Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, or take a pony ride to Baisaran (activities optional). Surrounded by lush pine forests and mountains, Pahalgam is perfect for nature lovers. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel or houseboat. You will be dropped off at Srinagar Airport for your return journey with wonderful memories of spiritual blessings, cultural richness, and Kashmir’s unmatched scenic beauty.
