Day 1: Amritsar to Haridwar (Approx. 7–8 hrs)

Begin your spiritual journey from Amritsar with a drive to Haridwar, a holy city on the banks of the Ganges. After check-in, visit Har Ki Pauri for the mesmerising Ganga Aarti in the evening. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot (Approx. 7–8 hrs)

Post breakfast, depart for Barkot, a beautiful hill town located near Yamunotri. On the way, drive through Mussoorie and stop at Kempty Falls for some relaxation. Reach Barkot by evening and check into the hotel. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3: Yamunotri Darshan (Trek – 6 km one way)

After early breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti (approx. 1 hr) and begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri, the origin of the Yamuna River. You can hire ponies or palanquins. Visit the Yamunotri Temple, take a dip in the Surya Kund hot springs, and offer prayers. Return to Barkot by evening. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi (Approx. 4–5 hrs)

Depart for Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. On arrival, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure or exploring the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Gangotri Darshan (Approx. 100 km one way)

Early morning, drive to Gangotri, the origin of the Ganges. On the way, enjoy stunning views of the Harsil Valley and Bhagirathi River. At Gangotri Temple, take a holy dip in the Ganga, offer prayers, and relax in the serene Himalayan environment. Return to Uttarkashi in the evening. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (Approx. 8–9 hrs)

Post breakfast, proceed to Guptkashi, the base for the Kedarnath trek. Drive alongside the Alaknanda River and through picturesque mountain roads. On arrival, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple and prepare for the Kedarnath trek. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 7: Kedarnath Darshan (Trek or Helicopter)

Early morning, drive to Gaurikund (or Phata if using helicopter services). Begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. After darshan and exploring the divine landscape, stay overnight in Kedarnath (in camps or dharamshala).

Day 8: Return to Guptkashi from Kedarnath

After morning darshan (if missed), begin the trek back to Gaurikund, then drive to Guptkashi. The day is for rest and recovery after the trek. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath (Approx. 7–8 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath, the last of the Char Dham temples. Upon arrival, visit Tapt Kund (hot springs) and take darshan at Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. In the evening, visit Mana Village, the last village on the Indian side near the Indo-Tibetan border. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath to Rudraprayag (Approx. 5–6 hrs)

Attend early morning aarti at Badrinath Temple. After breakfast, begin your descent and drive towards Rudraprayag, situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers. On arrival, check in and relax. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 11: Rudraprayag to Haridwar (Approx. 6–7 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive back to Haridwar. On arrival, spend the evening revisiting Har Ki Pauri, shopping for souvenirs, or visiting Mansa Devi Temple. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 12: Haridwar to Amritsar (Return – Approx. 7–8 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Amritsar by road. Reach by evening and conclude your 12-day Char Dham Yatra with divine blessings and unmatched spiritual experiences.
