Day 1: Amritsar to Jammu (Approx. 5–6 hrs drive)

Your thrilling Ladakh journey starts from Amritsar. After an early breakfast, drive towards Jammu, passing through the lush green fields of Punjab. Reach Jammu by afternoon and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can explore Raghunath Temple or relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Jammu.

Day 2: Jammu to Srinagar (Approx. 8–9 hrs drive)

After breakfast, begin your scenic journey to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. En route, drive through Udhampur, Patnitop, and the Jawahar Tunnel. Reach Srinagar by evening and check in to your hotel or houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3: Srinagar to Kargil via Sonmarg and Drass (Approx. 8–9 hrs)

Post breakfast, check out and drive to Kargil, crossing through the lush meadows of Sonmarg and the cold desert of Drass – the second coldest inhabited place in the world. Visit the Kargil War Memorial, a tribute to Indian soldiers. Arrive in Kargil and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 4: Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru and Magnetic Hill (Approx. 7–8 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Leh, the capital of Ladakh. En route, stop at Mulbekh Monastery, Lamayuru Monastery, and witness the unique phenomenon at Magnetic Hill. Also, visit the Sangam Point, where the Zanskar and Indus rivers meet. Reach Leh by evening and check into your hotel. Rest and acclimatize. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing

Today is for local sightseeing and further acclimatization. After breakfast, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and Hall of Fame Museum. Explore the bustling Leh Market for traditional souvenirs and local food. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (Approx. 5–6 hrs)

Post early breakfast, drive to the enchanting Nubra Valley via Khardung La (5,359 m), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. On arrival, visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride on the sand dunes of Hunder. The stark beauty of the valley will leave you speechless. Overnight stay in a camp or hotel in Nubra.

Day 7: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok (Approx. 6–7 hrs)

Today’s drive takes you to the spectacular Pangong Lake, one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world. The journey via Shyok River route offers unforgettable mountain views and rugged terrain. On arrival, witness the changing shades of blue in Pangong Tso. Overnight stay in tents or camps near the lake.

Day 8: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass (Approx. 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast by the lake, begin your return to Leh via Chang La Pass (5,360 m), one of the highest mountain passes. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Reach Leh by late afternoon and spend your last evening shopping for souvenirs or simply relaxing. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 9: Departure from Leh – Fly back to Amritsar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Leh Airport for your flight. You’ll board a connecting flight to Amritsar via Delhi, bringing your 9-day Leh Ladakh adventure to a close with a heart full of memories and eyes full of mountains.
